Next-Generation Wireless Networks
The cell tower industry needs qualified technicians armed with comprehensive training capable of deploying next-generation Wireless Networks.
Our VA-Approved Tower Technician Level One (CEL100) course gives you a challenging two-week, 120-hour learning experience. In addition to traditional classroom training, you will participate in multiple field exercises and other hands-on training scenarios. This includes practicing on our new monopole mounted in our Utilities Training Hangar (see photo on right).
There are numerous funding options available for training.
Physically Challenging Training
Participants will be required to safety operate machinery and conduct field exercises at a height of over 100 feet while carrying approximately 70 lbs. of tools and equipment. In order to successfully complete these exercises, participants must be aware of any medical and/or physical limitations that might prevent them from participating in such activities.
Warriors 4 Wireless (W4W) Partnership
TEEX has partnered with Warriors 4 Wireless (W4W) to train veterans on the installation of the rapidly expanding 5G wireless network. W4W is a charitable organization existing solely to help veterans find decent paying careers in the growing 5G wireless workforce. It has invested well over $1 million of contributed funds to lower veteran expenses while they train to join this promising career field. W4W has connected more than 2,700 veterans to wireless career opportunities and it stands ready to help you.
