Crude by Rail Emergency Response is a hands-on course designed to provide emergency responders with the skills and knowledge required to mitigate a flammable liquid fire involving railcars. This course covers the increase of nationwide crude oil production, industry regulations concerning crude oil transportation, and the possible behaviors of a burning crude oil tank car involved in a train derailment. The course also covers the characteristics of crude oil and examines the various types of flammable liquid fire fighting equipment used in the event of a fire. Participants will learn how to recognize hazards and consider tactical responses on full-scale props where they will apply their skills and knowledge in a controlled but realistic crude oil fire involving railcars.

Annual School Registration Information:
Annual Schools require that you use the registration form. You can print the Annual School registration form and mail it with a check, or fax it to (979) 847-9304 with an approved/signed Purchase Order. Only Annual School registration forms will be accepted.
Late Registration Fee:
A late fee of $50.00 will be assessed to payments made after the registration deadline for the Annual Municipal School classes.
