Veterans Benefits

From service with the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard, the path for veterans looking for a new career begins with training in one of the many certificate programs approved for VA education benefits at TEEX. A dedicated veterans liaison will explain choices including one-week to nine-month training programs for careers in public service and in private industry. Step-by-step assistance helps choose among fast-track options to join the workforce sooner. Programs do not require a college degree. Courses include firefighting, law enforcement, emergency medical technician and paramedic, unexploded ordinance, certified safety and health official, and CNC machinist. Instructors with real-world experience provide the hands-on training. One out of every six TEEX employees is a veteran, making it the best place to explore post 9/11 GI BillTM benefits and other veteran programs on the way to a new career.
