The Public Service Training Complex is situated just south of the Texas A&M-RELLIS campus in Bryan, Texas. This 86-acre campus will provide training for front-line and public safety professionals who deliver essential services to protect the lives and property of Texans, maintain critical infrastructure, and ensure the economic viability of Texas communities.

TEEX training requires a wide range of infrastructure, facilities and equipment to simulate realistic situations.

The complex includes:

  • an urban grid that simulates a city environment
  • a drive track with a skills pad for police and motorcycle training
  • upgraded classroom and laboratory spaces.

Some of the courses offered at the complex include:

  • TEEX Lineworker Academy and the Central Texas Police Academy
  • electric power training
  • commercial driver training
  • emergency vehicle operations
  • unmanned aerial systems (UAS) flight training
  • heavy equipment training
  • truck and trailer safety training
  • all-terrain vehicle (ATV) operations
  • cell tower rescue operations
  • police patrol tactics
  • crime scene investigation and processing
  • unexploded ordnance identification and safe handling
