Course Description

Construction siteThe Stormwater Permitting and Compliance course provides industry professionals with responsibility for stormwater compliance, a better understanding surrounding the requirements of a general permit, the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3), pre- and post-construction activities, sampling, and reporting processes. During training, participants are provided information surrounding stormwater runoff accumulation sediment, chemicals, trash, and other pollutants that may have adverse effects on surface water quality and the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) general permit program.

NOTE: This course is taught in English.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Attendance Requirements

Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed
