Course Description

OSH752 Job Hazard Analysis (OSHA #7515) covers OSHA guidelines for developing a job hazard analysis. Course topics include the purpose and requirements of a job hazard analysis, the relationship between worker tasks and tools in a work environment, identifying job hazards before they occur, and techniques for completing a job hazard analysis. Students will participate in activities related to utilizing a job hazard analysis.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Course Completion Requirements

In order to receive a Certificate of Completion, the participant must:

  • Attend 100% of the course
  • Sign the attendance roster
  • Complete and pass the final exam

Attendance Requirements

Class attendance is an essential part of the education process, and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. The course requires participants to attend a minimum of 100%of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, the instructor will review any additional attendance requirement, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed.

Upon successful completion, you will be able to:

  • Explain the Job Hazards Analysis (JHA) importance.
  • Identify workplace hazards.
  • Describe Job Hazard Analysis process.
