Course Description
The TEEX Structural Collapse Shoring Workshop provides you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to construct wooden and engineered emergency shoring systems at structural collapse scenes due to natural disasters or man-made incidents. This course is two days and 20 hours of face-to-face (Instructor-Led) training and includes:
- Exterior Shoring Techniques
- Interior Shoring Techniques
This course is designed for students who are looking to add Structural Collapse Shoring to their skillset and it can also serve as a Shoring Refresher for students that have previously taken a Structural Collapse Class. We make every effort to ensure consistent terminology and training within the discipline of Urban Search and Rescue (US&R), so this course teaches tools, techniques, and shoring systems consistent with the DHS/FEMA National US&R Response System Curriculum.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be issued a TEEX Certificate of Completion.
