Commercial Driver License (CDL)

CDL Test Preparation

Commercial Driver License (CDL) testing can be intimidating. Preparing for it doesn’t have to be.

We offer Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) courses designed to get you ready and build your confidence. Our courses address everything from safe driving safety procedures to proper vehicle inspection.

A good place to begin is with our CDL100 Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) Test Preparation course.

Check out the course “accordions” at the bottom of this page to start your CDL adventure with us.

How to Earn Your CDL:

  1. Complete the CDL100 Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) Test Preparation course or Schedule a Commercial Driver License Knowledge Test with DPS at https://www.txdpsscheduler.com
  2. Apply for and obtain a Commercial Driver License Permit (CLP).
  3. Train with TEEX.
  4. The CDL101 ELDT Theory and Range and Road Class A/B course covers all FMCSA requirements to complete theory, behind the wheel, and road and range maneuvers.
  5. Once your TEEX training is successfully completed and you have held your CLP for 14 days, you are eligible to complete the necessary driving test to obtain your CDL.
