Front-line emergency fire supervisors and responders can train at one of the few locations in the United States that teaches the unique properties of Liquefied Natural Gas and how to handle spill control and fire suppression. The first-class LNG training facility at Brayton Fire Training Field in College Station, Texas, allows for classroom training and hands-on practice using proven techniques for extinguishing an LNG fire. Anyone involved in the production, storage or transportation of liquefied natural gas, or those who might be called to respond to an LNG incident, will benefit from learning LNG characteristics. Topics include behavior of confined and unconfined LNG spills on land and water, vapor cloud behavior and use of high-expansion foam. Due to the strenuous nature of class activities, a professional evaluation of personal physical conditioning is suggested prior to enrolling in this course.

Safety First

All students participating in training at TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field are required to follow all guidelines in the Student Safety Manual for the fire field.
