Materials

  • 2 clear plastic bottles
  • Water
  • Duct tape
  • Glitter or dish soap (optional)

Preparation

  1. Fill one bottle ¾ with water, add glitter or soap.
  2. Tape the bottle necks together tightly.
  3. Flip and swirl to create a vortex.
  4. Discuss tornado safety and how to respond during a storm.
