K-12 Art Contest
Rules and Instructions
The TEEX K-12 Calendar Art Contest invites students ages 5-18 to showcase their creativity and artistic talents by creating original artwork that reflects the competency areas and services of TEEX.
Artwork Categories
Fire and Emergency Services
Firefighting, EMS, Hazardous Materials, Rescue
Business and Cyber
Manufacturing, Cybersecurity
Infrastructure and Safety
Electric Power, Water Operations, Heavy Equipment
Law Enforcement and Protective Services
Law Enforcement, Forensics, SWAT, Explosives
Awards
- 12 Winners will receive TEEX swag bag.
- Winning entries will be featured in the TEEX calendar.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top three artworks in each category.
Rules
Eligibility:
- Open to students ages 5-18.
- Artwork must be original and created by the submitting student.
- Each student may submit only one piece of artwork.
Submission Requirements:
Deadline: All entries must be received by October 24, 2025.
Format: Artwork must be submitted as a high-resolution digital file (JPEG, PNG) or as physical artwork.
Size: Artwork should be 10x8 inches.
Submission Guidelines:
Digital Submission: Email artwork to [email protected] in the subject line add “TEEX Art Contest Submission - [Student’s Name] - [Grade].”

Permissions
By submitting artwork, students and their guardians grant TEEX permission to use the artwork in promotional materials, including but not limited to the calendar and TEEX’s website, with full credit to the artist.
