Latin American Emergency Response Training

TEEX training is verifiable by any employer and transferable from employer to employer. No university degree required and no annual membership dues. Receive credit for your previous training at TEEX within the past 10 years.

Audience

This course is for those looking to:

  • gain a solid and broad-based education in the field of emergency response.
  • enhance your potential for career advancement.

Requirements

Complete one course from each of the five modules within 10 years.

Three of the five courses must be taken at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field in College Station.

Two of the five courses may be taken with one of our authorized TEEX Cooperative Learning Centers (CLC), who are authorized to teach the courses listed below.

Module 1 – Firefighting

Must be taken at the Annual Spanish School at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field or with an authorized TEEX CLC who is accredited to teach the following courses.

  • 40-hour Firefighting
  • 40-hour Marine Firefighting
  • 40-hour ARFF Firefighting
  • NFPA 1081 Exterior Fire Brigade Training
  • NFPA 1081 Interior Fire Brigade Training

Module 2 – Hazardous Materials Response

Must be taken at the Annual Spanish School at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field or with an authorized TEEX CLC who is accredited to teach the following courses.

  • 40-hour HazMat Operations
  • 40-hour HazMat Technician
  • 40-hour HazMat ICS
  • NFPA 472 HazMat Technician Certification

Module 3 – Rescue Techniques

Must be taken at the Annual Spanish School at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field or with an authorized TEEX CLC who is accredited to teach the following courses.

  • Rescue Practices I – Awareness and Operations
  • Rescue Practices II – Confined Space
  • Rescue Practices III – Structural Collapse
  • NFPA 1006 Confined Space Rescue Level I & II 
  • NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue Level I&

Module 4 – Pump Operations

Must be taken at the Annual Spanish School at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field or with an authorized TEEX CLC who is accredited to teach the following courses.

  • Pumper Operations

Module 5 – Elective Courses

Any 40-hour course taken during Annual Spanish School at the TEEX Brayton Fire Field or with a TEEX CLC who is accredited to teach any TEEX or TEEX authorized course. Any elective course must have a TEEX certificate to comply.

Get Your Certificate

Send a copy of all five TEEX certificates to Ulises Penalver for approval at [email protected]. Once we have received and verified your five certificates, you may fill out the registration form and pay only $150.00 to receive your Emergency Response Specialist Certificate, a TEEX coin and a patch. TEEX will mail your certificate to the address you provide on your registration form.
