Course Description
The Greater Houston Area Fire Marshals’ Council Training Conference has two tracks of training. There is a Fire Investigation Track and an Inspections Track. These classes will assist you in meeting the CE hours needed as inspectors, Investigators and you will receive TCOLE credit for the classes.
Prerequisites
Typically there are no prerequisites although some specific course(s) may have requirements. Consult the appropriate flyer at teex.org/extension.
Course Completion Requirements
Participant Must Provide
- a photo identification on the first day of class. See the Participant Handbook for approved forms of identification and additional guidelines.
Attendance Requirements
This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements.
Upon successful completion, you will be able to:
- Fire & Arson Tracks
- Inspector Tracks
Suggested Audience
All Investigators and Inspectors or those interested in training in these disciplines.

Note: Live Online Instructor-Led (webinar) courses are not eligible for TCOLE credit.
