The Applied Mathematics for Water and Wastewater Professionals course provides participants with simple and consistent math principles specific to water industry calculations. During training, students review basic concepts necessary to ensure their success with assigned operational exercises. Treatment operators successfully completing the course not only have the opportunity to improve their individual mathematics skills, each is led through skills testing using scenario driven problems. As problems are reviewed, operators develop a general understanding of overall issues associated with water wastewater chemistry, plant design, and operation.
