Course Description

The Texas Association of Fire Educators (TAFE) conference provides fire educators with training resources, educational support, and advancement of fire education. TAFE oversees the George M. Hughes Texas Instructor of the Year Award and the Earl Malone Texas Training Officer of the Year Award.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Course Completion Requirements

Participant Must Provide

  • a photo identification on the first day of class. See the Participant Handbook for approved forms of identification and additional guidelines.

Attendance Requirements

This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements.

  • Train the Trainer Courses
  • Equipment Use Demonstrations

Suggested Audience

All emergency and crisis response personnel.
