Course Description

The South Texas All Hazards Conference is one of the largest and most comprehensive conferences dealing with emergency response in the state.  The Hidalgo County Health and Human Services conference takes a proactive approach to public health and emergency preparedness.  Emergency responders hone their skills and utilize all available resources to be prepared for all emergencies, whether they are related to the weather, disease, accident, a deliberate act or any critical event.  

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course. 

Course Completion Requirements

A photo identification on the first day of class.  See the Participant Handbook for approved forms of identification and additional guidelines. 

Attendance Requirements

This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion.  During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements.
