The TEEX Basic Peace Officer Academy is a comprehensive pre-employment training experience for individuals seeking a career in the law enforcement industry. The Academy is an 800-hour program delivered over a 20-week period utilizing traditional classroom instruction combined with practical field exercises followed by required skills testing.
The Academy gives graduates the opportunity to enter the job market prepared with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by prospective employers within the law enforcement industry.
