The TEEX Lineworker Academy is a comprehensive pre-employment training experience for individuals seeking a career in the utilities industry. The Academy is a 480-hour program delivered over a 15-week period utilizing traditional classroom instruction combined with practical field exercises followed by required skills testing.

The Academy gives graduates the opportunity to enter the job market prepared with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by prospective employers within the electric power industry.

Graduates also receive:

– Basic First Aid and CPR Certification

– OSHA 10-Hour ET&D Construction Card

– Eligibility to apply for their Commercial Driver License (CDL)
