Join us as Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) opens Brayton Fire Training Field for a free Public Firefighting Demonstration Night. Don’t miss your opportunity to witness firefighting techniques in action at this family-friendly event!
What to Expect
- Watch as TEEX experts ignite full-scale live-fire training props on our 297-acre fire field.
- Witness firefighters demonstrate how they combat intense fires up close.
- Learn as instructors explain the techniques and equipment used to battle each blaze.

Admission and Parking
- FREE admission
- FREE parking is available in lots along Nuclear Science Rd.
Know Before You Go
- Water stations will be available. Stay hydrated!
- We recommend bringing your own water bottle, fans, or cooling towels.
- Wear closed-toe shoes and loose, comfortable clothing.
Animals at Public Burn Night
Only ADA-recognized service animals are permitted at Public Burn Night. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, comfort animals, and pets are not allowed. Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times. For accommodation requests, please contact the event organizer in advance.
