TEEX, through the Texas Forensic Science Academy (TFSA), and Blinn College are now offering a Collegiate Technical Investigation Skills Program for Blinn College students. Students participating in the program will receive high-quality forensic technical training to prepare them for employment in the forensic industry.

The Collegiate Technical Investigation Skills Program (CTISP) consists of 272 hours of specialized forensic training. It is delivered during a collegiate semester through eLearning, traditional classroom instruction and practical application.  Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive 18 hours of collegiate credit through Blinn College and a Forensic Investigation & Evidence Management Professional Certificate through the TEEX – Texas Forensic Science Academy.

Application for CTISP is online through the TEEX Student Portal via FIV150 Collegiate Technical Investigation Skills.  A Federal Criminal History Background Check must be submitted as part of the application process.
