TEEX, through the Texas Forensic Science Academy (TFSA), and Blinn College are now offering a Collegiate Technical Investigation Skills Program (CTISP) for Blinn College students. Students participating in the program will receive high-quality forensic technical training to prepare them for employment in the forensic industry.
CTISP consists of 272 hours of specialized forensic training. It is delivered during a collegiate semester through eLearning, traditional classroom instruction and practical application. Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive 18 hours of collegiate credit through Blinn College and a Forensic Investigation & Evidence Management Professional Certificate through the TEEX – Texas Forensic Science Academy.
Application for CTISP is online through the TEEX Student Portal via FIV150 Collegiate Technical Investigation Skills. A Federal Criminal History Background Check must be submitted as part of the application process.
