Public Safety Supervisor

The Public Safety Supervisor Certificate is designed to give graduates a recognized credential that can translate into greater recognition within their respective field. After completing the four required courses graduates will have an understanding of planning and organizing, and effective leadership and communication.

Required Courses

Effective Communication and Interviewing
Report Writing and Documentation
First Line Supervisor (Face-to-Face or Online)
Field Training Officer (Face-to-Face or Online)

Once all four TEEX courses have been completed, applicants should confirm they meet all certificate requirements using the Public Safety Supervisor Application and return it to the TEEX Law Enforcement & Protective Services division. Eligibility of each candidate will be reviewed and email notification of decision will be sent.

Note: No substitutions will be accepted for Effective Communication and Report Writing and Documentation at this time. First Line Supervisor and/or Field Training Officer may be taken from another training provider. If you are citing training from another provider, please provide your certificate of successful completion and TCOLE training record with your application. TEEX will review your course equivalency request and make a determination on a case-by-case basis.
