Funding is available from several sources to support tuition. We encourage you to review all the information for the options available. Loan applications are completed with the lender and usually require a credit check.

Student Third-Party Loans

A student third-party loan is money borrowed that you must pay back with interest. If you decide to take out a loan, make sure you understand the terms and conditions.

Assistance programs and associations is money awarded to either the Agency to offer a course at no cost to participants or to a participant to be applied to training. Review the options on which would best for your Agency needs. Grant applications are completed with the association offering the grant. This money is awarded and is not paid back.

1098 Form

TEEX does not issue 1098s because we are not considered an eligible institution by the U.S. Department of Education. An eligible institution is one that provides student financial aid and TEEX does not.

Although TEEX has partnered with Sallie Mae and Meritize for participants to secure a loan to attend some of our programs, those options are credit-based, not income-driven.
