In order for TEEX to be a training provider for these organizations, our curriculum, assessments, operational procedures, and staff must complete a stringent approval process. American Council on Education (ACE) The American Council on Educations College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) has evaluated and recommended college credit for a number of courses through various organizations. American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI) The American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI) is a voluntary national, not-for-profit, independent professional certification board that has been established to promote the highest standards of practice for medicolegal death investigators. American Institute of Architects Health, Safety and Welfare (AIA LU/HSW) The American Institute of Architects is a professional organization for architects in the United States. Licensed architects and affiliated design professionals have a positive duty to protect the publics health, safety, and welfare.Courses listed below qualify for health, safety, and welfare credits because they address the following knowledge competencies:

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) The Federal Aviation Administration is the largest transportation agency of the U.S. government and regulates all aspects of civil aviation in the country as well as over surrounding international waters.
Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) The Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) is the law enforcement training academy for Indiana. The center is responsible for preparing law enforcement personnel for service through continuous and innovative training guided by clear values and respect.Courses listed have been designated as pre-certified for online training credits. Individuals who complete the course are responsible for self-submitting the ILEA form. The form is unique for each course and is linked on each course page.
International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA) Violent crimes often result in bloodshed. The analysis of bloodstain evidence is a valuable instrument in the successful prosecution and exoneration of those charged with violent crimes. The International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA) is an organization of forensic experts specializing in the field of bloodstain pattern analysis. As a professional forensic association IABPA represents a worldwide membership from various scientific and law enforcement backgrounds to encourage and promote the science and standardization of scientific techniques of bloodstain pattern analysis. The IABPA is currently comprised of approximately 600 members, worldwide, from various scientific, law enforcement, criminal justice, and academic backgrounds.
International Association of Identification (IAI) The International Association for Identification (IAI) is the oldest and largest forensic association in the world. As a professional forensic association IAI represents a knowledgeable and experienced membership that is assembled to educate, share, critique, and publish methods, techniques and research in the physical forensic science disciplines.

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) ICAO serves as the global forum of States for international civil aviation. ICAO develops policies and Standards, undertakes compliance audits, performs studies and analyses, provides assistance and builds aviation capacity through many other activities and the cooperation of its Member States and stakeholders.
International Code Council (ICC) The ICC is a member-focused association with over 64,000 members. It is dedicated to developing model codes and standards used in the design, build, and compliance process to construct safe, sustainable, affordable, and resilient structures. ICC certificate holders must obtain a specified number of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every three years in order to maintain their certifications, and a portion of these CEUs must be obtained through Preferred Provider or ICC training. TEEX is an ICC Preferred Provider and as such offers training designed to prepare industry professionals such as municipal and county code officials for final proficiency testing through the ICC.
International CPTED Association Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is a multi-disciplinary approach of crime prevention that uses urban and architectural design and the management of built and natural environments. CPTED strategies aim to reduce victimization, deter offender decisions that precede criminal acts, and build a sense of community among inhabitants so they can gain territorial control of areas, reduce crime, and minimize fear of crime. CPTED is also known around the world as Designing Out Crime, defensible space, and other similar terms. The International CPTED Association (ICA) is an international non-profit association. The ICA promotes the use of CPTED globally and supports local organizations, practitioners and communities that utilize CPTED principles to create safer communities and environments.
International CPTED Association Accredited, Class A (ICA Class A) The international movement to reduce and prevent crime through urban design is called Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). The International CPTED Association (ICA) is a professional non-government organization dedicated to implementing CPTED around the world.Courses listed below meet the ICA CPTED Class A level. National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) The National Wildfire Coordinating Group provides national leadership to enable interoperable wildland fire operations among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.
Nebraska State Patrol The Police Standards Advisory Council (PSAC) establishes continuing education requirements for Nebraska law enforcement officers to maintain their certification and to best serve the communities and residents of Nebraska.Continuing education requirements apply to all active, certified law enforcement officers, reserve officers and individuals exercising law enforcement duties under a special deputy status.
Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) The Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) supports law enforcement professionals serving the state’s communities through education and training to promote professionalism and enhance competency within the ranks of Oklahoma law enforcement.
Pro Board The National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) is an internationally recognized organization that accredits agencies to certify emergency responders to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Professional Qualification standards.
State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC)/Texas Education Agency (TEA) TEEX is approved by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) to provide continuing professional education (CPE) credits for classroom teachers and administrative professionals in the Texas education system. TEEX provides many areas of study in which educators are able to select to use towards the CPE requirements.
State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshals’ Association of Texas (SFFMA) Organized in 1876, SFFMA is Texas’ oldest and largest fire association serving the fire and emergency service responders of Texas and beyond.
Texas Board of Nursing The Texas Board of Nursing (BON) is to protect and promote the welfare of the people of Texas by ensuring that each person holding a license as a nurse in the State of Texas is competent to practice safely.
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) TCEQ is the environmental agency for the State of Texas with its central office located in Austin as well as 16 regional offices around Texas. TCEQ’s mission is to protect Texas by reducing and preventing pollution, and it oversees various aspects of planning, permitting, and monitoring to protect the state’s resources such as water and air as well as ensuring compliance and enforcement with the state’s environmental laws. TEEX is a TCEQ approved training provider. TEEX offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for TCEQ license requirements in a variety of license category courses, either in the classroom or online environment. In addition, TEEX offers TCEQ licensing for computer based testing.
Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) The Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) is a state government agency. The commission’s statutory authority and role is to serve Texas fire departments by providing training guidelines and assistance to the fire service, and enforcing statewide fire service standards.
Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) TCOLE is a regulatory State agency that establishes and enforces standards to ensure the people of Texas are served by highly trained and ethical law enforcement, corrections, and telecommunications personnel. TEEX is licensed as a training academy by TCOLE and offers practice licensing exams. Note: Live online instructor-led (webinar) courses are NOT eligible for TCOLE credit. If you are seeking TCOLE credit, please ensure you are enrolled in either 1) a face-to-face, in-person offering or 2) an online, eLearning course offering that offers TCOLE credit upon successful completion of the course. Texas Department Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) TDLR provides oversight for a broad range of occupations, businesses, facilities, and equipment and as such oversees occupational and business licensing programs as outlined in Chapter 51 of the Texas Occupations Code. At TEEX you can complete courses to meet education requirements necessary to apply for a TDLR license, such as the State of Texas Code Enforcement Officer exam.
