A Public Firefighting Demonstration will be held Wednesday, July 24, at Brayton Fire Training Field. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the event is free.

Fighting a fire will help A&M students ‘smoke’ those final exams
Students enrolled in ‘Fire Protection Engineering Concepts for Industrial Facilities’ at Texas A&M University get a chance to be a firefighter for a day. The course is offered through the Mary Kay OÂ’Connor Process Safety Center and taught by subject matter professionals with the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).
