- Business and Cyber Solutions
TEEX delivers tailored training and solutions in economic development, manufacturing, cybersecurity and workforce development. These programs empower communities and industries worldwide to succeed in a rapidly evolving landscape. - Fire and Emergency Services
TEEX offers instruction in more than 130 fire and emergency services focus areas, including emergency response, preparedness, rescue and firefighter programs. Much of this training is conducted at the renowned Brayton Fire Training Field and Disaster City® in College Station, Texas. - Infrastructure and Safety
TEEX delivers high-quality training and technical assistance in infrastructure and safety. Specializing in environmental health, heavy equipment, transportation, water/wastewater and electric power programs, TEEX upholds excellence in safety education and OSHA standards. - Law Enforcement and Protective Services
TEEX also provides hands-on and virtual instruction in law enforcement and protective services. Training covers areas such as corrections, emergency communications, explosives, forensic investigations and other law enforcement programs. - Homeland Security
TEEX National Emergency Response and Recovery Training Center (NERRTC) is a DHS/FEMA-funded program that has trained more than one million responders nationwide. Specializing in risk-driven approaches to emergency preparedness, NERRTC offers homeland security training in areas such as community resilience, disaster recovery, search and rescue, infrastructure protection and sports and special events management.

From no-cost fire training in Texas to online courses and veterans benefits, TEEX offers a wide range of continuing education, certification programs and professional credits, providing flexible, expert-designed learning opportunities.
- Continued Education and Professional Credits
TEEX provides continuing education and professional credits through third-party organizations. To be an approved provider, our curriculum, assessments, and procedures undergo a rigorous approval process. We currently partner with more than 25 organizations.
- Certificate Programs
Explore TEEX’s range of certificate programs, designed to enhance professional expertise across various industries, from cybersecurity and forensic investigation to safety, law enforcement and infrastructure management, including water and wastewater certifications and economic development.
- Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or FEMA-Funded Training Programs
TEEX offers a variety of DHS/FEMA-funded training programs through NERRTC in areas such as community resilience, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and emergency management. These courses are available at no cost to eligible participants nationwide, with specific scheduling guidelines for different states.
- Government Services Administration (GSA)
Government employees and agencies can access internationally recognized TEEX training at discounted rates through the GSA Federal Supply Schedules, with options for training on-site or at TEEX facilities.
- Education Outreach
TEEX offers flexible courses that fulfill professional education hours and connect K-12 students to careers. Courses are available virtually or in person at school campuses or TEEX locations. Additionally, TEEX provides essential safety training and services for teachers and administrative staff at educational institutions.
- No-Cost Fire Training for Texas First Responders
TEEX offers exceptional, no-cost fire and emergency training programs across Texas, including our fire extension program, leadership development and specialized emergency management training.
- Online and Correspondence Courses
TEEX offers innovative online and correspondence training to maximize resources, reduce travel and deliver real-world skills to industry professionals anytime, anywhere.
- Veterans Benefits
Military veterans can kickstart a new career with TEEX by joining select certificate programs that are eligible for Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefits. These specific programs don’t require a college degree and feature hands-on training from instructors with real-world expertise, preparing you for success in your next chapter.

- Recruit Fire Academy
The TEEX Recruit Fire Academy offers two paths to firefighter certification: a 12-week, hands-on traditional program and a 16-week hybrid option with online training and a 4-week in-person boot camp. Graduates are eligible for IFSAC, TCFP, and Pro Board certifications, which meet or exceed requirements for municipal firefighters in most regions. - Lineworker Academy
The TEEX Lineworker Academy is a 15-week VA Education Benefit-eligible program offering hands-on training in pole climbing, equipment operation and utility work. Graduates leave the program equipped with the skills needed for careers in the electric power industry. - Texas Forensic Science Academy
Established in 2009, the Texas Forensic Science Academy provides robust instructional and technical training to tens of thousands of participants around the world. We offer in-person and online courses for forensic professionals, high school and college students, and high school forensics educators. - Criminal Justice Academy
The TEEX Criminal Justice Academy provides skills-based training for corrections and law enforcement careers. Participants in the academy gain a wide range of skills for jailers and corrections officers with a focus on communications, vehicle operations, law enforcement supervision, and use of force. - Central Texas Police Academy
The Central Texas Police Academy provides four pathways to Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Basic Peace Officer licensing and a range of law enforcement training programs.

TEEX offers many programs at the 1,900-acre Texas A&M-RELLIS campus, utilizing 100,000 square feet of classrooms, labs and outdoor facilities for hands-on training in electrical power, law enforcement, ordnance, heavy equipment, and tactical simulations. - Fire and Emergency Facilities in College Station, Texas

The 297-acre Brayton Fire Training Field trains over 45,000 emergency responders annually in firefighting, rescue, medical services, and emergency management across 132 real-life, scenario-based stations. - Disaster City ®
At the 52-acre Disaster City training facility, emergency responders practice search and rescue in realistic disaster simulations, including wrecked trains, collapsed buildings, and other crisis scenarios. - Emergency Operations Training Center (EOTC)
The 32,000-square-foot EOTC houses advanced simulation technology to train incident managers and officials in large-scale crisis management, impacting strategic planning and preparedness. - Emergency Medical Services Lab (EMS Lab)
The EMS Lab provides realistic medical training with scenarios using Human Patient Simulators, volunteers and a fully functional ambulance for hands-on practice in emergency medical services.
- Brayton Fire Training Field
- Center for Marine Training and Safety (CMTS) in Galveston, Texas
This training center offers U.S. Coast Guard-regulated offshore and marine training, featuring a 14-vessel fleet and specialized equipment for courses like fast rescue boat operations, oil spill control and marine search and rescue. - OSHA Training Institute Education Center in Mesquite, Texas
This 30,000-square-foot training facility provides Occupational Safety and Health Administration training, helping workers and managers improve safety awareness, efficiency and productivity. - H.B. Zachry Training Center in San Antonio, Texas
This 40-acre training center offers technical courses in occupational safety, water and wastewater, transportation and environmental topics. - Keeping Texas Prepared (KTP) Extension Program
