OSHA Training Institute Education Center

Headquartered in Mesquite, Texas, is the Dallas Region OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC). Ranking near the top in the number of program graduates, the center also contracts directly with customers worldwide for expanded training through more than 300 safety and health classes. In addition to the standard OSHA courses, more advanced training and specialty courses are also available.

These courses provide the knowledge and skills necessary to create a safe workplace for employees and to maintain compliance with OSHA regulations. Taught by professionals for professionals, instructors are experts with years of field experience in compliance training for construction, disaster management, general industry, hazardous materials, instructor development, leadership and supervision, maritime, oil and gas/petrochemical and safety.

DOL Announces Upcoming Changes to OSHA Regional Operations Structure

To direct its resources effectively and make the agency more resilient, The Department of Labor announced May 8th strategic changes to the structure of its OSHA regional operations. OSHA plans to fully transition to its new regional structure later in Fiscal Year 2024.

Using OSHA Construction Standards as a guide, special emphasis is placed on those topics required in the 10- and 30-hour programs as well as those which are most hazardous.
